Working on a variety of marketing campaigns, you’ll take the lead in the day-to-day creation and implementation of the marketing plan for bira bank. You’ll be part of a wider marketing team, working alongside Marketing Executives for other subsidiaries. You’ll be pro-active, enjoy variety and work creatively within the scope of the bira brand, exploring boundaries to get results. You’ll use your own initiative and apply a digital-first approach to maximise ROI. You’ll be responsible for compiling, analysing, and reporting on campaigns against lead generation targets to the wider bira bank team.


Key responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day implementation of the bira bank marketing plan taking responsibility for deadlines and targets
  • Pro-actively encourage a digital-first approach to campaigns
  • Plan and create multi-media communications including social media and PPC campaigns
  • Create, approve, send and analyse eshot and direct mail campaigns
  • Produce content, copywriting, editing and planning the distribution of promotional materials, including brochures, blogs and marketing copy
  • Create reports on campaign outcomes with analysis to highlight key lessons from the marketing activity
  • Attend meetings to present campaign reports to the wider bira bank team
  • Be the brand ambassador for bira bank, ensuring consistency to help maintain and build reputation with a strong visual link with bira
  • Be a valuable team player and provide support to the wider marketing initiatives of bira, bira direct and BAGMA
  • Contribute to an existing collection of member quotes, testimonials, images and occasionally speak to member businesses over the phone to get details
  • Place calls to or visit partners as needed to provide marketing materials and discuss tactics to achieve mutual objectives
  • Carry out CRM data work for digital marketing campaigns, cleansing and updating where necessary


You will have demonstrable working experience in a marketing department or marketing related field along with:

  • Excellent copy writing and communication skills: able to inspire and enthuse others and to vary the tone and use of language for different audiences and purposes
  • Knowledge and experience of digital marketing techniques
  • Accuracy and an eye for detail
  • Good organisational skills with an ability to multi-task, lead on certain areas and meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in marketing and measurement
  • Good working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office including Word, Outlook and Excel
  • Excellent project and time management skills; deadline driven
  • To be able to work on multiple project streams, managing conflicting priorities and responsibilities
  • Proactive, hands-on, creative and passionate with excellent people skills
  • Enthusiastic and willing to support the wider team
  • A natural methodical problem solver
