Role Overview
Job Title: Relationship Executive

Department: Membership Services

Reporting to: Relationship Manager

Salary: £37,000 – £38,000

Contract: Permanent, 35 hours per week

Location: Hybrid role – home/based with some travel required into our premise at 116 Pall Mall, London, SW1Y 5ED

What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be the vital link between IoD members and internal departments. Working with volunteers across Regions and Special Interest Groups, you’ll maximise member knowledge and access to benefits while driving retention and growth.

  • Communicate effectively with members and volunteers, maintaining deep knowledge of IoD’s value proposition and services
  • Collaborate with Membership Operations, Events, Professional Development, IAS, Marketing and Communications teams
  • Manage relationships with regional and special interest group volunteers, providing excellent support
  • Support volunteer community leadership teams through recruitment, onboarding, planning and event creation
  • Maintain accurate records and documents on the IoD CRM system
    Review administrative processes for efficiency improvements

What We’re Looking For

Qualifications:

  • Degree qualified, or alternative suitable career experience

Knowledge:

  • Understanding of business, membership organisations and stakeholder engagement
  • Strong grasp of operational and administrative processes
  • Competency in general financial procedures
  • Awareness of GDPR rules

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience working within a membership organisation
