The Role
We are now looking for an experienced Business Alliance Manager to contribute at a senior level to the development and delivery of the Chambers Business Alliance programme. Your focus will be managing a portfolio of key accounts and generating new business. You will work closely with our Chief Executive Officer and the Head of Membership to nurture
existing partnerships and develop new ones. The ideal candidate will have at least five years’ experience in a key account management role with experience of developing and maintaining partnerships in a relevant context. You will need to be highly organised and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing relationships with multiple partners.
Main responsibilities
- Working as part of a small team to manage the development and delivery of the Business Alliance tier.
- Organise and develop a portfolio of high-profile business networking events.
- Engage with existing and prospective partners, building effective long-term relationships.
- Develop communications that highlight the impact of our work and the role of partners.
- Work closes with the other Business Alliance Manager to deliver a tailored service to our members.
- Proactively develop new opportunities for partnerships, working across the Chamber Group to.
identify prospective partners and develop relationships that lead to new collaboration. - Work closely with the Policy & Inward Investment team to develop and support sector
working groups.
Experience and personal attributes
You must have:
- A passion for the mission of the Chamber of Commence.
- At least five years’ relevant key account management experience of developing and managing partnerships.
- A track record of initiating, leading, and implementing partnership development.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the demonstrable ability to prepare and deliver a compelling presentation.
- Outstanding organisational and administrative skills.
- UK driving license and access to a car.
- You must be eligible to work in UK
Ideally you would also have:
Experience of working with multi-nationals and foreign owned companies.
