My client a reputable and established chartered institute based in Central London and Oxford is currently searching for a Workstreams Project Manager.


The Role


As a Workstreams Project Manager you will be responsible for supporting two workstream leads, the Director of Public Affairs and Research and the Chief of Staff, on two of the key workstreams. You will be responsible for project planning activities; documenting and reporting risks; and evaluating implementation.


Principal Accountabilities

Developing and establishing review processes, ensuring processes and templates are effective and up to date

Ensuring project documents are complete, current, and appropriately stored

Providing consistent reporting on project activities and results to the Central Project Management Team

Representing the workstream in internal meetings with other workstreams

Working closely with sub-stream leads in the delivery of project work plans and revising as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements

Managing issues and risks to mitigate impact to project, and communicating project risk in a proportionate and effective way

Identifying and managing / co-ordinating interdependencies with other workstreams

Carrying out other duties as reasonably specified by the Project Leads.

Adhering to and supporting the risk, interdependency, and project management governance frameworks.


Knowledge and Experience Required




Proactive, self-starter – able to work on own initiative

Experience of seeing projects through the full life cycle

Strong familiarity with project management tools, methodologies, and best practices

Ability to solve problems creatively

Ability to see the bigger picture and identify connections and interdependencies across project activities and objectives

Strong organisational skills and proven record at meeting deadlines

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate confidently, both written and verbally

Ability to learn new subject matter quickly

Confident user of Microsoft Office and strong IT skills more generally.





Experience in a membership organisation and / or delivering membership and customer service projects

Knowledge of culture and people transformation initiatives / best practice

Project management qualification, such as Prince 2

Creative thinking to support alternative approaches to dissemination.
