Based in York, the Institute of Physics and Engineering in Medicine (IPEM) is an Educational Charity which acts as a Professional Body and Learned Society for a growing membership of more than 4,700 scientists, engineers and technologists working in hospitals, universities, and healthcare industries.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and diligent individual to join our growing Education & Professional Development Team. You’ll play a key role in helping professionals achieve registration and, working with our Training team, you’ll ensure there are continuous professional development opportunities to meet their needs.

You will be a main point of contact for professionals and education providers seeking information about registration and accreditation, good relationship building and management is key.

You’ll manage IPEM’s licensed activity with the Science Council, Engineering Council and Register of Clinical Technologist (The RCT), registration, accreditation and approval activities.

IPEM promotes flexible working for staff. We ask all new staff to be office based for the first 6 months to facilitate training and relationship building with a range of colleagues in the office. A formal flexible working request will be considered earlier.
