An opportunity has arisen for a Membership Operations Lead within the External Affairs Directorate at the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG). This role is required to lead the development and implementation of new and improved membership operations processes ensuring the provision of excellent customer services and efficient ways of working.

Key objectives of the role include:

  • Leading a review of all membership operations processes, including membership admission ceremonies and annual subscriptions, proposing and implementing recommendations for more joined up, effective and efficient way of working
  • Responsible for the successful implementation of new online membership application processes (Associate, Affiliate and Fellowship applications)
  • Leading, managing and developing the membership operations team, including managing performance and supporting personal/professional development, to deliver against the membership strategy

As a successful candidate, you will have extensive experience of leading successful operational planning and development in a membership (or similar) organisation and proven experience of assessing and documenting business requirements and improving ways of working. You will have proven leadership and team building experience as well as a passion for motivating, managing and developing people. You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including oral, written, presentation and listening skills and be able to manage change and gain the confidence of colleagues at all levels.
