We are the Minor Metals Trade Association, a not-for-profit organisation which serves to benefit and promote the interests of its international Membership, comprising companies involved in all aspects of the international minor metals sector.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Member Services Administrator, who will have a keen interest in events and marketing. The right candidate will have a can-do attitude and be a good all-round communicator.

Some international travel will be required.

All applicants must have the right to work in the UK.

 

The successful applicant will:

Be a key point of contact for members.

Build and maintain relationships with members.

Deal with all administrative aspects of events.

Source sponsors for key MMTA events.

Market events using direct mail, digital and social media.

Have the ability to edit copy.

Promote advertising opportunities.

Update content on the MMTA website.

Update and maintain CRM database.

Various other office tasks.

 

Essential skills and competencies:

Excellent attention to detail

Great interpersonal skills

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Strong relationship management

Strong numeracy and literacy

Organised and efficient

Able to work flexibly and demonstrate time management skills

Able to both work with others and independently to deliver work with minimal supervision

Confident telephone manner

 

Desirable skills:

Degree level qualification or equivalent

Extra languages, in particular Chinese, would be an advantage, but are not a pre-requisite for applying.
