Team Assistant Role Requirements
An opportunity to join a small team, in the not for profit/membership association sector within the optical profession. We need a Team Assistant with initiative, a can-do attitude and strong attention to detail.
This vacancy will give the successful candidate the opportunity to work within a small, but perfectly formed team!! Varied tasks will make up your day, supporting the key business focus of membership, events and general admin.
Responsibilities will include;
·General administrative support to the team in managing multiple competing priorities with a main focus on supporting membership and events activity.
·Screening and responding to member email enquiries and telephone calls
·Managing the membership database, renewal and reminder system
·Event planning support and administration
·Support to web and social media activity
·Supporting the production of documents, briefing papers, meeting minutes and presentations
·General support with day to day activity of CEO
·Liaising with the bookkeepers for payment processing
Managing the education online portal.
Skills and Competencies required;
·Experience in administration in an office environment
·Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
·Problem solving abilities
·Ability to multi-task and a strong organisational skills
Proven skills in Membership/CRM database management
·Excellent computer literacy Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Working knowledge of Quickbooks online or similar financial programme
·Social Media aware and ability to use this method of communication
·A can-do attitude, initiative, self – starter and willingness to get involved beyond the job descript
